I have the following error. Not sure what I did to break things and the code base is too large on the upload. This one might be the same error found in this problem: http://support.sharpcrafters.com/discussions/problems/5313-unhandled-exception-postsharpcompilerhostingcommandlinedll-6024-release-net-core-212-systemnullreferenceexception-object-reference-not-set-to-an-instance-of-an-object and I wanted to be sure that it was.

Thanks,
Chad

    Hello,

no, it's a different problem. It is related to Portable PDB support we've introduced recently.

We're not able to figure out what is the root of this issue just from this stack trace, unfortunately. You say that the size of your code base is too big to be uploaded. If it's the only problem, would it be possible to share it with us using some file sharing service (OneDrive, Google Drive, DropBox, http://www.uschovna.cz/en/, ...), so we can investigate?

In the meanwhile, you can switch your project to use Full PDB instead Portable PDB to work around this issue. You can do this by setting DebugType MSBuild property to Full.

    Best regards,
    -tony

We have switched it out for Full and it works. I'm not sure that zipping it up would be of any use to you. We use custom nuget servers, you would have to have all of our nugets and the codebase and even then, it's a little tricky to get the code to compile. I'll see if I can reproduce the issue without all of our setup. I think that has a better chance of helping out with this bug.

    Thanks,
    Chad
