We are building out our VS2017 w/ PostSharp 5 Build Server environments. I would like the compiled images for PostSharp to be installed to improve our build times.

I was looking at running C:\ProgramData\PostSharp\3.1.42\bin.Release>PostSharp.HQ.v3.0.exe /installcompiledimagesimpl as described here:

http://support.sharpcrafters.com/discussions/questions/670-postshar...

But the C:\ProgramData\PostSharp\5.0.37\bin.Release folder does not contain PostSharp.HQ.v3.0.exe. Does PostSharp.Settings.exe somehow take the place of this tool? What is the syntax for installing the compiled images in an unattended fashion?

    Hello,

In PostSharp 5, the PostSharp.HQ.v3.0.exe has been replaced by PostSharp.Settings.exe and PostSharp.Settings.UI.exe.

Installing the compiled images for PostSharp 5 silently is done using command PostSharp.Settings.exe /installcompiledimages.

    Best regards,
